I’m a Career and Transition Coach specializing in helping busy people get from chaos to calm as they manage a career transition. In partnership, I help them streamline the overload to develop and implement an action plan leading to a fulfilling career.
Sometimes it’s about asking the hard questions and really listening to the answers. Sometimes it is about bringing all the pieces together. Other times it is being the calm in the storm or reminding people of their unique gifts so they find the confidence to shine brightly.
It’s ALWAYS about helping people tell their story while staying true to who they are.
Why I Do It
In all my years of recruiting, I saw far too many incredible candidates that just needed help to show the world all they could offer. Over time I had the opportunity to mentor some talented people and watch them bloom. Being able to contribute to that magic is a gift that keeps on giving.
After enough messages about what an impact I had made, I realized it was time to honor my calling. I had worked with a coach and seen firsthand the impact in my work, my relationships, and my overall outlook and approach to life. I began the transition and training to allow me to impact the lives of others. I am so grateful to now have the opportunity to help others get unstuck, get clear on what they want, develop a strategy for action, and nurture a positive mindset.
Why I’m Different
It’s not about just writing a resume and LinkedIn profile and sending you on your way. I care about you overcoming obstacles and aligning your career with your personal values and goals. I also bring a background of Recruiting and Human Resources, so I get the whole “other side” of the job search. For over 17 years I worked for companies including Nordstrom, Randstad, and CH2M, in both corporate and agency recruiting, so I can shed some light on what to expect and how to navigate the process so you don’t feel so overwhelmed and in the dark. I have interviewed more than 20,000 people and provided career strategy support to over 5,000 people.
